The St. James Civic Centre Floor Plan and Images
The proposed project involves an expansion of the St. James Civic Centre with an approximately 14,000-square-foot addition. This includes several multi-purpose program and meeting rooms, as well as dedicated administrative space for St. James Assiniboia 55+. Additional facility renovations include improvements to the auditorium, main building entry, washrooms, and development of a community kitchen.

During the town hall that was held on October 23, 2020 we were asked for pictures of proposed project. We have some to share with you today.
Small Business Boosters: Connecting With Consumers

Across Manitoba, we’re finding ourselves in a place we hoped we wouldn’t get to: Critical restrictions (RED) on the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System.

Whether your business is limited to 25% capacity, or you’re the owner/operator of a service or retail establishment deemed non-essential and required to close your physical establishment to customers, it’s likely very difficult for you to maintain a positive outlook at this point.

It has been nine long months since the dawn of the pandemic, and Manitoba’s business community has pivoted and adapted to changing circumstances many times over. You’re likely questioning how to serve your customers well and how to thrive amid these incredibly difficult conditions.
2020 T4 Reporting

While we understand that you or your payroll provider file your T4 slips, we wanted to provide information about the new reporting requirements.

For the 2020 tax year, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will be introducing additional reporting for the T4 slip, Statement of Remuneration Paid. Additional reporting requirements will apply to all employers, and will help the CRA validate payments under the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS), the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB), and the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB).
