Manitoba Chambers Calls for Tax Review in Budget 2019 Submission
On March 7 th , Manitoba’s Finance Minister, Scott Fielding will be releasing Budget 2019.

In pre-Budget meetings, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) shared their commitment to continue to move the province towards a full review of taxes and to keep reducing expenditures, while focusing greater attention on key economic indicators that measure our success. CPA Canada calls for a review of the Canadian tax system (Source: Yahoo! Finance)
A new report by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) is recommending the government undergo a comprehensive tax review that will “make the system simpler, fairer, more efficient and competitive.”

The report, released on Wednesday, provides a blueprint for how the government could reform the Canadian tax system, one CPA Canada said currently weakens the country’s competitiveness. For full article, click here .
