Hello everybody!
Happy Halloween, or All Hallow’s Eve! Please join us for the Solemnity of All Saints tomorrow for 12:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. mass. We will also celebrate a mass of remembrance for All Souls Day on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for those who have had loved ones die this past year, but it is open to all who would like to pray for the faithful departed and support those they have left behind.
Make plans for our Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, after the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. masses. The chef told me the food will be delicious!
November 5-11 is National Vocation Awareness week in the United States. You can view a video about this from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) here. Please pray that the Master of the Harvest will call and send more dedicated and holy priests, deacons, and consecrated men and women religious into his harvest field! If you, yourself, are feeling called, please reach out and we can get together to help in your discernment.
As a reminder, I will never contact you requesting direct financial assistance through gift cards or anything else. Scammers continue to send emails and text messages in my name. Please delete those messages, report them, block the sender, and delete from your trash for ever. These are NEVER legitimate. Thanks!
May all the saints intercede for us and may all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
