North Carolina Commissioner Vows Support for Captive Insurance
North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey says he intends to work with both state legislators and the state's captive insurance industry to enhance North Carolina's status as a top captive domicile.

Claim Information
Description: One of our Insureds contracted for the transport of merchandise via a third-party carrier. When the merchandise went missing, the vendor and the carrier denied any responsibility and so our Insured had to absorb the expense of the lost merchandise. Through their Captive's Actual Net Loss Insurance Policy "Transit Risk" coverage, the Insured was able to recover the loss. 
Line of Coverage: Transit Risk
This exposure was elected for coverage by the client under their Captive Policy. This resulted in a claim payment amount of approximately $30,000.
*Please note that each claim will undergo an independent investigation and thorough review process. Various components specific to the claim at hand will be assessed thoroughly to determine if the loss is covered by the policy.
