- Every year during the month of May, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Connecticut joins the NAMI national movement to raise awareness about mental health.

National Prevention Week – May 12-14
- This is an annual observance sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) dedicated to increasing public awareness and action around substance use prevention and promoting positive mental wellbeing.
