The third annual Mississippi Day is a free community event highlighting the exciting work of Mississippi's flagship university. Join the CMSE and other departments across UM for hands-on activities, free performances, exhibits, tours, demonstrations, and more! Be sure to visit the CMSE tent, robotics demonstration, and mobile planetarium at Brevard Hall!

Audience: Middle and High School Teachers, Career & Technical Educators, Counselors, Administrators, and Career Coaches

Dates: June 19-21, 2024 (Session 1) or June 26-28, 2024 (Session 2)

Location: The University of Mississippi Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence, Oxford, MS

(Overnight accommodations are available.)

Registration Deadline: May 15, 2024

Cost: $150 (CEUs add $15, No charge for SEMIs or OSLs)

CEUs: 1.4 (SEMIs and OSLs available upon request)

Make It Mississippi Summer Leadership Program for Students


Make It Mississippi is a competitive summer experience for current high school students interested in Manufacturing and STEM careers within the accounting, business, and engineering sectors. Students will work directly with faculty and staff from the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence at The University of Mississippi. 


Dates: June 16-19, 2024 (Session 1) or

June 23-26, 2024 (Session 2)

Location: The University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS

Grades: Rising 11th-12th Graders (2024-2025)
