As noted in the bulletin today, we have two parish picnics coming up. This afternoon, St. Agnes will have their parish picnic at the Cascade Park pavilion #1. Next Sunday, St. Mary’s will be gathering at the Russia Township Hall. The details are in today’s bulletin. This is a great way to spend some time together and get to know one another. Mission Trip Opportunity

If anyone is interested in travelling to Kingston, Jamaica for a mission trip with the Missionaries of the Poor to work with mentally and physically handicapped children & adults who have been abandoned by society, please contact John Jurco at 440-371-7665. 'Table of Plenty' Food Pantry

611 Lake Ave. distribution dates: Aug. 24 & Sept. 28. Food distribution is 10am-Noon. Gates open 9:30am [Enter on Bath St.] Car trunks should be clean & empty. Only Elyria residents please. Walk-ups are welcome.

Senior Luncheon

The next Senior Luncheon will be Mon., August 12. We will begin with lunch at Noon. The cost of the luncheon is $7. Please call in your reservations to Rita Bowen at 323-0140 by Wed., Aug. 7. We look forward to a great meal, good fellowship and game of BINGO for those who wish to stay. Bring a friend and enjoy a great afternoon.

Pre-Baptism Class

Pre-Baptism Class will be Wednesday, August 14 from 6:30- 8:30 pm in the Conference Room. Babies & Godparents are welcome to come with the parents. To register, please call the Parish Office at 323-5539. Our next class will be held on November 13.

August Book Club

Our AUGUST Book Club book is titled The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway. We will meet Thursday, August 22 at 7 pm in the Conference Room.
