Employee Excellence Nominee: Danny Criminski
Danny consistently tutors students so they can improve their grades in class. While at Eastside Early College High School I have seen him tutor students in every core subject multiple times a week yielding results that he should be proud of. Danny takes time to teach his students how to play chess. This is something that teaches them how to think critically, but also gives them tools on how to strategically approach life and the varying circumstances that will arise. He pushes his students towards excellence at all times while being that caring adult they can all depend on.One student has even expressed, "Mr. Danny is like the father I never had that I don't want to disappoint." Danny is a fixture on his campus that teachers, administrators and students all depend on daily. He has onboarded some of the new Male Leadership Coaches, as a facilitator and also a curriculum builder/strategist. This responsibility is nowhere in his job description but he believes in what MSAP does and how important it is for our team to be trained properly from the very start. Danny is a leader by example and a teacher at heart. -Excerpt
