Olmstead Risk Assessment and Planning Checklist

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Olmstead Supreme Court case paved the way for people with mental illness who were in institutions or at risk for being so to be able to live in the community if they want to. This helpful document from the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors gives guidance on how states can create a system that is compliant with the ADA and Olmstead.
