All About Ushering with Gretchen

Drop by Coffee Hour this Sunday to learn about all things ushering! Want to volunteer, but not sure where to start? Being an usher is one way to lend your presence and welcoming spirit to All Souls. This session is also an opportunity for experienced ushers to refresh their hospitality skills. If you can't make it in July, there will be another session in the early Fall.

Friendship Circle for People Who Have Lost a Partner or Spouse

If you have lost a partner or spouse and are seeking new friendships, please join this Friendship Circle. We meet monthly on the second Sunday of the month from 12:30 – 1:30 PM in the Forrest Church Gallery at All Souls. We will open our meetings with a short reading or meditation, support each other, cultivate new connections, and spread some joy! Please join us. This group is always open to new members.

Calling all knitters and crocheters! Beginners and pros! The goal is to make as many handmade scarves and hats as possible that will be handed out at the two meal services this winter. You can knit by yourself – or join us for “group knits” in the Ware Room. We’ll supply instructions AND YARN!! Bring your needles to first meeting and pick out some yarn. Got a Minute for Democracy?

Stop by Souls in Service’s table during coffee hour on July 21 and spend a few minutes writing postcards getting out the vote in underserved communities. Script, information labels, stamps and all other necessary materials will be provided. Help us meet our goal of preparing 200 postcards by Labor Day. A small donation to cover the cost of materials and stamps is appreciated.

All Souls publishes two email newsletters: The All Souls Weekly, the Friday email which announces upcoming events for the next week; and Today at All Souls, which arrives at 8 am every morning and includes the Zoom information for events that day. We also produce a weekly Buddhism & Mindfulness newsletter and a weekly Education newsletter.

Submissions for the Friday email must be received by the previous Sunday at 4 pm (at least 5 days before the email it is intended for).


Printable Calendar: Submissions or changes in regularly scheduled programming must be submitted by the 15th of the month prior (i.e. March 15th for the April calendar).
