LABFEST 2023!! AND THE JUDGES ARE...
I am absolutely thrilled to be announcing the LabFest 2023 judges. What an honor!
Kerry Barden, J. Todd Harris, Lori Openden and Rick Ferrari!
LabFest 2023 is The Actor's Lab Film Festival where actors from all five of our studios submit a
2 to 3 minute film shot on an iPhone or Smart Phone. They have two months to create their project and it must incorporate the theme of this year's festival: Under The Wire. The submission are then seen by our amazing judges, prizes are awarded, and the films are then promoted on our Social Media and distributed to Entertainment Industry Professionals.

J. Todd Harris is an American film producer. Harris is the founder and President of the production studio Branded Pictures Entertainment. Harris has been a member of the Motion Picture Academy since 1999 and is a founding board member of the Napa Valley Film Festival. He has produced projects like The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Kids are Alright, Bottle Shock, 12 Mighty Orphans, and many more.

Lori Openden – Two-time Artios Award Winner Casting Director of Cheers and Hill Street Blues, Lori was also the Head of Casting for the CW. She cast shows such as 8 Simple Rules, Barney Miller, Rhoda, The Betty White show and more.

Rick Ferrari - Commercial Talent Agent and Owner of Ferrari Talent. Rick, a returning judge from 2021, has been one of the top Commercial Agents in the industry, running the commercial division of Buchwald before starting his own agency.
