Thank you, Viewers, Donors, Sponsors, and Media Partners for making the 2nd Virtual, 11th Legacy Film Festival a well-traveled and enjoyable event.

This year, we offered a Virtual Catalog of 42 films on Aging from around the world, divided into 18 themed Festival Programs, including 13 Interviews with filmmakers, totaling over 30 hours of content.

Due to popular demand, the Fest, originally scheduled to wrap up Sunday, January 16, 2023, was extended an extra week until Sunday 22, 2023. (Upon reading this announcement, one of our viewers, Nancy W. immediately emailed us: “I just finished my 30th film and am loving every bit of it. Now I can take a breather and relax a bit. BRAVO to you! It's the best yet!”).

KUDOS to our brilliant team who responded to every question and hiccup with professionalism and level-headedness: Arlene Reiff, Sally Gelardin, Sadie Harmon. (Please read team bios, HERE). And thanks to our Festival Designer, Jason Luz.

After some breathing time, we hope to send each of you a survey that will help us create more marvelous programming in our next Virtual Catalog.

Our original mission from our first year in 2011 remains as steadfastly true today as it did then: Presenting an annual film festival with films that inspire, entertain, and educate intergenerational audiences about the issues surrounding aging.

With your support, we continue to present artistic depictions of older adults—those who have adapted with creativity, courage, and growth! We wish the same for each of you.
