Bradfield Families,
Today, we celebrated our 4th graders during their graduation ceremony. Staff, students and parents followed up with the traditional 4th Grade Clap Out which was led by Blaze, 4th graders Eloise Hicks and Bobby Merrill as well as our beloved staff members, Kathleen Berry, Shirley Martin, Mr. Dale, Nurse Kim, Valarie Proudfoot, Cynthia Marlow, Grace Hendry and Mary Martha Morgans.

Thank you to the Fourth Grade Chairs, Allison Dickey, Stacy Hicks, Libby Mason, Beth Peters, Jessica Rugg, and Merry Munson Wyatt for your dedication and organization this year. The students enjoyed the fun activities you planned and your communication efforts were much appreciated. Thank you for such a special graduation ceremony and memorable video. Your hard work paid off!

It is hard to believe this will be my very last Bronco e-blast I write. I have been writing them on a weekly basis for the past 7 years. This has definitely been an emotional week to say the least. I have tried to soak up every minute and enjoy our Broncos, families and staff before they leave for the summer. What I have struggled with the most, until Tuesday, was will they find someone who can take care of this Bradfield community the way they deserve. After meeting and working with the incoming Principal, Dr. Aimee Hilton, I am at peace knowing you are going to be in good hands. She is going to love you just as much as I do and she is going to cherish the sweet moments and relationships you create. Believe me, I know change is hard! But I find comfort in knowing I will have beautiful memories that will last me a lifetime. I have been honored to work alongside the most dedicated parents who were supportive and put their child’s best interests first. You, your children and the Bradfield staff have made these past 7 years a true joy and I have been blessed to be a part of this outstanding community.
As we get older, our lives often begin to take different paths. Some of our families will be heading to MIS, moving due to career changes, or heading in new directions, while some of us will return to Bradfield in the fall. For those not returning, I wish you all the happiness and hope you keep in touch. You will always be a Bronco! For those who are returning, Go Big and Go Bold. Until our paths cross again, enjoy your summer, stay safe, and remember, “It’s always a Great Day to have a Great Day and go out of your way and be kind today!”

I’d also like to thank the over 100 committee members who gave so much of their time to the PTA this year. I am thankful for each and every one of these parents: 23-24 PTA Org Chart.
Bradfield is in excellent hands next year with Rachel Reed as your 24-25 Bradfield PTA President. Rachel has been an invaluable sounding board for me this year. She has the knowledge, patience, organization skills, and all around savviness to lead our PTA next year. Thank you Rachel for all your support this year!
Lastly, I’d like to thank Principal Dumar. Not only did you provide me with invaluable support and guidance this year, I can honestly say working with you made this year a lot more fun. Thank you for everything you’ve done to support the PTA and the school this year, and for the last 7 years. Bradfield is truly losing one of their best, and we wish you tons of happiness in your next adventure. P.S.- thanks for always indulging me in my love for balloons.
See ya’ll in August! (and 5 more Augusts after that because I have 6 more years at Bradfield…) In the meantime, don’t forget to…
