Greetings!

Yonkers students are back in full swing! As we tackle the lingering impact of the pandemic, we are energized seeing students back in school, showing up at our College Centers, and learning after school at the College Zone.

In this video, hear from Yonkers students on the YPIE Journey – starting in 9th grade, moving through high school and college, with many being the first in their families to earn a college degree.

During this season of giving thanks, I send our sincere gratitude to all of you who help make these journeys possible.

Recent Highlights
YPIE Seniors have been busy this fall, with many hitting submit on their early applications!

Hundreds of students have participated in college information sessions and completed their college essays and financial aid forms with the help of YPIE's dedicated staff and volunteers.

As part of Regeneron's 6th Annual Day for Doing Good, YPIE welcomed 18 Regeneron scientists to share their insights and experiences with YPIE Science Research Scholars.

Thanks to Regeneron for their ongoing generous support and for providing mentors who inspire YPIE students to continue to pursue their passion for science.

YPIE Volunteers Amplify Our Impact
More than 250 volunteers are making a life-changing impact on YPIE students! In just the past few months, YPIE volunteers:
  • Helped 200+ YPIE seniors complete their college essays
  • Matched as Graduation Coaches for 10th- and 11th-grade Scholars
  • Assisted with FAFSA forms, resumes, interview prep, and math tutoring
