Stealing Alice in Atlanta with Québec Filmmaker, Marc Séguin
Heartful Thanks
When I saw Stealing Alice in Québec, I knew I wanted to share it with Atlanta. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all who contributed to make it happen.
It was an honor to have artist, author and filmmaker, Marc Séguin, join us from Québec. During his talk following the film, I saw people leaning forward in their seats with his authentic and compelling answers to questions about his intriguing film and process.
Collaborating with the Southeastern International Film Festival has been a great experience, and I admire all they do to showcase independent film from and to the southeast.
It was a pleasure to have Vera Nicholas, Consul and Foreign Policy & Diplomacy Services Manager with the Consulate General of Canada in Atlanta, give the welcoming remarks. It was fitting for Annie Bréard, Director of the Québec Trade Office in Atlanta, to introduce Marc Séguin from Québec .
Tremendous thanks and appreciation to Alston & Bird for their support of an incredible evening of arts and film in Atlanta. Thank you to Cargill and my friends in Newnan for their support of the evening. Thank you to the wonderful donors for their patronage.
Thank you to all who attended the film. Your presence and enthusiasm has meant so much!
Much love, Denise
