Inclusion Parksville provides services to adults with developmental disabilities (diverseabilities) in the District 69 area.  Participants are supported through innovative programs and person-centered programming aimed at enhancing the lives of all people in the community.  

One of Inclusion Parksville’s programs is Employment Services. Through this program, adults with diversabilities are empowered to gain and maintain successful employment within the Oceanside Area. Employment Services also supports employers to diversify their recruitment approach and work towards an inclusive work environment. Please contact our Vocational Counselor at 250-954-7532 for details on hiring your next great employee!

Close To You opened in 1991 as a tiny, 700 SF lingerie store specializing in bra fitting and hard to find sizes in beautiful downtown Parksville, BC, Canada. It is now over 4300 SF of gorgeous fashions, lingerie, footwear, and accessories, as well as an ecommerce store!

Sandy Herle (owner) can often be heard saying "onward and upward" in her never-ending quest to learn and grow, and true to form, Close To You has become not only a complete women’s store - dressing women from head to toe - but a destination store for locals and tourists alike. Sandy has been told, (but is not sure if the rumour is 100% accurate) that her store is the largest Independent Ladies Boutique on Vancouver Island!
