THANK YOU FOR VOTING!

According to the Canyon County Elections website, 5,639 people (56.72%) voted in favor of Nampa's GO Transportation Bond, and 4,303 people (43.28%) voted against the proposed bond.

The bond required 2/3 majority to pass, which it not meet, so did not pass.

We would like to thank everyone who took time to learn about the proposed bond, ask questions, share their feedback and VOTE!

The City of Nampa will continue to do all we can to improve movement in and through Nampa with the funds available and by applying for grants.

Thank you again for casting your vote and making your voice heard!

(Below) The City of Nampa Public Works departments have been busy sharing about the many things they do for our community with the next generation. Last Friday they attended a "Touch A Truck" event at Reagan Elementary. This week, over 100 students from Centennial and Greenhurst Elementary Schools visited the City of Nampa to hear directly from staff and explore up-close some of the tools used by our professionals in their daily jobs. We hope we instilled a new understanding and interest in the variety of professions available within the City of Nampa.

Thank you to our Public Works staff for always going above and beyond for our community - we appreciate you!
