3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Hills Raises Money for Family Promise Programs
Our highlight video captures just a glimpse of the fun and fellowship had by all attending our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Hills Country Club. We are so grateful to the 128 golfers, our generous sponsors, our hardworking volunteers, and the staff at Indian Hills who helped us raise approximately $30,000, almost 19% of our annual budget. Our budget this year included expansion of many of our programs, including a case manager for our graduate aftercare program as well as two additional transitional houses that are currently in the works.

During lunch we heard our Family Promise graduate, Terrance, talk about how he, his wife and five children faced homelessness after leaving the military and how Family Promise was there to help his family. His story highlights how we brush up against people experiencing homelessness more often than we think. In fact, someone at the event, hearing about the work Family Promise does shared that they were currently experiencing homelessness and wanted to get information about how to enter the program. As Terrance assured us all “Family Promise is truly making a difference in the lives of families”.
