A Note from Scott and Marsha
January 3, 2019
So we are in the leadership/annual planning meeting for the next two days. I'm writing this 30 minutes before the meeting, so I will be brief today :). We will be tackling all the issues that we face in 2019...exciting, but we ALL know how my passion for all things FGS can often turn to tears--especially in these meetings. So my goal for the week is no more tears. In fact, less tears for 2019.  We have had so many things happen this past year, both blessings and trials. I am hopeful for a happier and more productive new year. We are genuinely excited to see what is in store for all of us.  What do we know to be true as of today? We have to create new covered space in the Garden Center, we need to improve our parking space, and we have a new squishy coming (Doug's bouncing baby BOY, aka my lap accessory if it were up to me.) And this list will grow over the next two days, so hang tight people. We are getting everything just right to help you bring green home in 2019!
We are working on getting the Garden Center ready for spring! There will be quite a few changes that will be going on over the next couple months. We have an excellent selection of houseplants, trees, shrubs, gifts and more. We also have many gift items on CLEARANCE , so come check it out! Come by and enjoy our beautiful property with your family and visit our goats, ducks and alpaca. The weather looks great this weekend, so it will be the perfect time to visit!
Adding lighting to the exterior of your home is aesthetically pleasing and adds safety. Perfectly placed lighting can highlight particular architectural features of your home. We recently posted the top three benefits of adding outdoor lighting.
When January rolls around, many of us turn our thoughts on how to improve our spaces. Don't forget the front of your home! Make a great first impression with gorgeous stone work and plantings to improve the curb appeal of your home.
Whether you want to add stacked stone around your flower beds, a stacked stone firepit, treadstone steppers (pictured above), or a flagstone walkway, our landscape team can design and install it. Stone is a beautiful and practical addition.
