Wednesdays 10:30am - Noon

New Aerial Yoga Class!

Wednesday nights in Sedona from 6-7pm

::: also check out the Saturday silks class at 10am :::

The picture series below demonstrates how the silks can be used as a very useful prop in accessing yoga postures in a profound and exciting way to deepen and excel your regular practice.

The art and practice of Aerial Yoga is multidimensional. Used as a prop, the Aerial "Hammock" can support your regular yoga practice by helping you access postures you otherwise may not by able to get into without the prop. The hammock can also facilitate deeper stretches while in common poses and is an excellent resource to explore various inversions.

The Aerial class is meant to be fun.

You will smile to yourself as you glide and fly through various sequences and experiment with flow styles that may be familiar to you in a whole different way.

Think of the playground when you were a child: the swings, the merry-go-round, and the slide, see-saw and monkey bars! There is an aspect of this practice that will return you to the freedoms of your former years helping to get more deeply in touch with your inner child. Many movements are non-linear and have an empowering underlying feminine quality. You will swing, sway, arc and rock. You will float and fly and you will experience complete freedom of motion.

The Wednesday evening class is a new addition! We may change the hammock height for a "low-flying" practice or keep the hammock higher for the more traditional "high-flying" practice style.

This class is for everyone! Modifications and adaptations will be made for everyone. We have had students from 12-75! Please join us for this new class offering on Wednesdays at 6pm.

$30 drop in per class.

Or $10 cash drop in for monthly members or pass holders can use a credit from a class pass plus $10.
