What factors impact cost for Texans?
If you’re thinking about replacing the old, outdated windows on your home this year here are some things to consider. Just like most products or services out there the market is filled with various factors that can either positively or negatively affect their cost and in this case windows are no different.
The cost of raw materials such as glass, timber and petroleum products can have a direct impact on the price of windows not to mention the ever-changing increase in labor costs.
Moreover, the availability of these materials on the market can also influence the final cost.
Additionally, technological advancements in window designs, energy efficiency, and durability can drive up the price of windows, as many customers are willing to pay more for a product that offers energy savings and longevity.
Plus, with the continuing rise in interest rates many window companies have either cut way back or completely cut out financing incentives.
It is probably safe to say that prices are not going down any time soon.
What can Texans do to get the best products at the best prices?
Late fall through early spring can many times be the best opportunity to save money on items like HVAC, insulation and windows because demand is usually lower due to the weather and companies want to keep their crews busy as we head into the hot summer months.
At Texas Home Improvement we have worked with our partners to put together the best deals of the year in these three categories for THI listeners across the state.
Listen tomorrow, Saturday March 30th, Jim will feature the
year’s best deals on windows during the radio show.
Now is a great time to upgrade your windows.
