Linda Eder

Anderson Hall Performing Arts Center at Brewster Academy

Saturday, July 8 at 7:30 pm

Showcasing one of the greatest voices of our time, Linda Eder’s diverse repertoire spans Broadway, Standards, Pop, Country, and Jazz. When she performs “live” in concert, it is amazing to experience the ease with which she moves back and forth from one genre to another.

(This show is not part of the season tickets package.)

We LISTENED.

At the end of last season, we sent out a survey of our patrons, and we ‘listened’!  We’ve found that surveying our supporters and guests is a valuable way for us to enhance everyone’s experiences.  We all agree that the performers and performances are fabulous, so we’re concentrating on the surrounding aspects of your experience.

There will be new chairs under the tent this year, with more space between them! (We do have to comply with fire department regulations to connect the seating so we are all safe. So remember not to unlink them!) And we have more staff to handle of all aspects of our patrons’ experience, from the first welcome to the last good evening.

And FOOD! We are pleased to announce for those of you who would like to have an outdoor picnic experience before to the concert, we have invited two fantastic Food Trucks from Beans & Greens: Farm to Foodie, offering chicken tacos, quesadillas, BLT burritos, carnitas, and Peaks: International Street Eats & Handcrafted Shaved Ice who will offer casual dinners such as chicken bao buns, falafel wraps, Thai veggie wraps, and chopped salads, plus refreshing summer drinks and ices.

So if a picnic before the performance sounds fun, the food trucks will be outside the tent from 5:00 pm to 7:15 pm, and then the performances begin at 7:30!

Thank you for your patronage.

The Pianos are BACK ready to be Played

The Great Waters STREET PIANOS are back on the streets and on The Mount Washington. These pianos have been donated by friends of Great Waters, and then beautifully painted by local artists.

We have a total at this moment of nine pianos in our fleet- seven of which hit the streets on Monday, June 12th- four of which are brand newly painted. Master Movers worked with us to get them all in place at Butternuts, Woofboro, Chamber of Commerce, Wolftrap, Clarke Plaza, Dockside and our newest addition at Nolan’s. The Mount Washington piano will be loaded later next week. Two of the pianos are painted by Kingswood AP Art classes, one by Wentworth Art Council, and one by Kingswood Youth Center under the guidance of The Wentworth Art Council. Some great community partnerships were formed. We are hoping to have a piano in Alton on its waterfront this summer, so keep an "ear" out for one. We have support from NH Electric Co-op (NHEC) and would love to find another partner as the costs of moving the pianos are high, as well as keeping them tuned, and stored. Our new slogan this summer is “Light up your life with Music” in gratitude for our grant from the NHEC.

Thank you to our wonderful community for coming together to make the Piano Project a beautiful success. If you would like to sponsor the Piano Project please contact the office for more information at Heidi@GreatWaters.org or calling 603-569-7710.
