Our 3rd annual NWLACTA Scholarship Ceremony is happening August 7, 2024, at 1pm at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club, where ten local high school senior tennis

players will receive scholarships. This year's awards, presented in partnership with the

Shreveport Association of Ladies Tennis.

The Louisiana Junior State Closed tournament in Lafayette showcased top players, including some of POTC’s best! Great work by all at the tournament

• Connor Wilson - Consolation Winner, B14 Singles (5-1) & 4th Place Doubles

• Nolen Graf - Consolation Winner, B12 (5-1)

• Kat Elberson - Consolation Winner, G16 (4-1)

• Mary Jackson Green - Winner, G10s Green Ball (3-0)

• Adam Oates - Runner up, Green Ball (2-1)

Other players include Sahil Tank, Kirin Jaganmohan, Alex Jayroe, James Moritz, and Roman Papa, who all faced tough competition. Way to go, POTC Juniors!

We wrapped up National Tennis Month with a smashing Memorial Day Celebration and Remembrance Event at Bill Cockrell Tennis Center, led by Coach Ken. From intense doubles battles to energizing cardio tennis drills, lively music, and delicious food, it was a hit!

Monthly Board Meetings

The NWLA CTA meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month at noon at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. This meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend!
