You're invited to a very special Ruach Shabbat Service. Will be honoring Rabbi Magat's 25 years as the Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El.


Please note that there is a parking exemption in place for the service. The parking signs will not be enforced.


After the service, there will be a very special celebratory Oneg.

Jewish Music 101

Join Cantor Shafritz for Jewish Music 101: Sounds, Settings, and Significance (from the Stories of Music Curriculum, a program of the Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience). Together we will explore Jewish music in religious settings, see how different cultures helped produce different Jewish sounds, acknowledge the role of Western Art Music in American Jewish experience, and delve into the music of Jewish communal experience.

We're excited to share our Spring Neighborhood Havdalah. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet other Temple Emanu-El congregants who live near you and share in the Havdalah Experience. You're invited to end the week together through song, prayer, and schmoozing. Community Seder - Addressing the Crisis of Homelessness

The tradition of the Passover Seder and the retelling of the story of Exodus is an opportunity to amplify an issue impacting our local community. This year we will be addressing the crisis of homelessness. Attendees will join in the rituals of the Passover Seder as well as learn from organizations and individuals working with our unhoused neighbors and other impacted communities about the challenges we face in addressing the crisis of homelessness and how you can get involved.
