Help Us Design Our Newest Park

Have you ever designed a park before? If you haven't, this is your opportunity! On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the Village of Palmetto Bay is holding a public workshop for the express purpose of gathering public input for the design of the future Veterans Park. What do you envision Veteran's Park to be? What would you like it to include? What is your vision to honor those who have selflessly fought for all of our freedoms? Kimley-Horn and Associates is facilitating the workshop and will present the current conceptual design based on information gathered to date. The conceptual design is essentially a framework of the overall idea and occurs early in the design development process. This is your unique opportunity to chime in and tell us what you would like to see in the new park.

Workshop Information Date: Thursday, June 23, 2022 Time: 6 pm Read the Public Notice Location: 9705 East Hibiscus Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157 Members of the public may attend the workshop physically in-person or watch the workshop via the Village’s official Facebook page the Village website (both linked below.) For persons wishing to provide their public comment by form rather than attend the workshop in person, please submit your online comments by clicking HERE. Please note that the Veterans Park Task Force Meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2022 is cancelled. Task Force members will instead attend the public workshop.
