Shannon has been riding horses since the age of 10, and riding dressage since she was 21.   She has had great influences throughout her career from "S" judge Debbie Riel-Rodriguez, Nancy Baker and for the past 10 years Obereiter Karl Mikolka of the Spanish Riding School.  She has the incredible help everyday now of her husband of five years Steffen Peters.

Shannon loves to both train and teach and finds great joy in bringing  her horses from training level to GP, and helping her students do the  same.  She lives in San Diego, California with her husband Steffen,  and two dogs Betty and Fritz.  Shannon teaches and trains and "Arroyo Del Mar", a 65 horse boarding and training facility that she runs with Steffen.

James has been immersed in the dressage community for the last 35 years.  

 

He was catapulted into the FEI dressage ring aboard the Pinto Dutch Warmblood stallion, Art Deco and has continued his success onward since then.  

 

As a competitor, James enjoys tremendous success on a wide variety of horses. He has competed in the Grand Prix on six different mounts and has guided over twenty horses to the FEI levels.  

  

Among them include

Donatelli II winning at Grand Prix with scores to 72% (2007) and Don Principe winning thirteen straight PSG and I1 classes in 2008. The dedication finally paid off in 2011 when he was listed as a High Performance rider with USEF.  

 

James distinguishes himself as one of the very few riders in the world to compete at both Four Star eventing and Grand Prix dressage. James trained and competed the horses Bank On It and Max Motoring at Essex**, Bromont**, Fair Hill*** and Rolex****.  

  

Rhett (R. Johnson) is a young Grand Prix horse bred by S. McQullian of Versailles, Kentucky. The talented horse recently won at Dressage at Devon, Dressage at Lexington, Dressage Under the Stars and several Grand Prixs in Florida.

 

Pharaoh, owned by Hannah Shook, recently placed third at Dressage at Devon in the Grand Prix Freestyle, scoring a 72.2 percent, and coming into his second year of Grand Prix.  

 

 

 

                   Jennifer Baumert

 

Don Principe (Donnerhall)   

 

Jennifer Baumert is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist based out of North Carolina. She is recently returning from a training trip in Germany with Klaus Balkenhol.

Don Principe is a German-bred licensed Hanovarian stallion. He is currently competing Grand Prix with major placings at Dressage at Devon, Dressage at Lexington and Kentucky Dressage Association. He is owned by Marydell Farms.  

 

 

                 Christina Vinios


Christina Vinios topped her year out by scoring a 7.78 for the FEI Five Year Old test with Folkestone, an Oldenburg, at Dressage at Lamplight.


 

                      J.J. Tate

JJ (Jessica Jo) Tate received her UDSF bronze medal at the age of 14, her silver at 16, and went on to get her gold at 21 years old. After a successful young riders career and almost 3 years studying dressage in Europe, JJ became a professional trainer at 21. Now at 33, she is considered an up and coming international rider, being named to the USEF Developing Riders List. Her experience in the competition ring is far beyond her years, having competed over 15 horses in the FEI levels, many at the Grand Prix. In 2006, with Cambay, she was long listed for the WEG and was the FEI World Cup reserve rider. In 2007, with Donnermuth, she was the top placing American rider at the World Breeding Championships for Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany. A common site in the FEI young horse classes as well, she has had top young horses be USDF Horse of the Year and National Reserve Champions. She loves horses and is passionate about training them classically, always keeping the horse's well being a priority. She currently trains with Scott Hassler, Charles de Kunffy, Debbie McDonald, and Steffen Peters whenever she gets the chance. She has trained in the past with Oded Shimoni, Gyula Dallos, Hubertus Schmidt, and Walter Zettl. She is newly married to Richard Malmgren, a Swedish horseman, and she splits her time between Wellington and Maryland.

 

 

 

 

Alison Johnson


Is a USDF Silver Medalist based out of Connecticut at Rendezvous Farm. She currently competes the Danish Warmblood, Apropos Lerup, and Hanoverian, Windsor Lad. 

 

  

 

 

                  Ashley Perkins


Ashley Perkins, a USDF bronze and silver medalist began riding at and early age and it did not take long to see that this was a life long passion.  After many years of pony club and eventing her focus shifted to dressage while working for Susan Jaccoma, a successful and well respected Grand Prix rider who was located in Ashley's home state of Maine.  In 2006 Ashley graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Equine Science and Management. After graduation she was hired as assistant trainer to Jennifer and Beth Baumert of Cloverlea Dressage in Columbia, CT andColumbus, NC.  As assistant she had the opportunity to ride many different types of horses ranging form the young horse to Grand Prix.  Ashley also gained experience teaching both amateurs and professionals during her time with Cloverlea Dressage. 
 
Ashley is currently a member of Team Tate Dressage in Chesapeake City, Md as assistant trainer to JJ Tate, who is also a very successful FEI trainer and competitor.  Over her career she has worked with many great clinician such as Scott Hassler, Bo Jena, Conrad Schumacher, Steffen Peters, Henk Van Bergen and Charles de Kunffy.
