Interested in Teaching for OLLI at SOU?

Have you thought about teaching a course for OLLI at SOU, but were a bit nervous about the process?


The Introduction to Teaching at OLLI at SOU course will help you think through your ideas. You'll get advice from veteran instructors and meet with a mentor to help fill out a course proposal (fall term proposals are accepted May 1-31). Courses can be in-person or online. Lecture, discussion, or activity. Introduction to Teaching at OLLI is open to non-members and is offered in a hybrid format so that participants can attend in-person at the Campbell Center or via Zoom.

Sign Up for the One Credit Program

Participation in the One Credit program helps SOU students and gives you free access to the SOU Hannon LibraryThe more members who participate, the more funding SOU gets from the State of Oregon to support the next generation of lifelong learners.


To participate, you must be age 65+ and have lived in Oregon for at least 12 months. Take a minute and sign up for the One Credit program. If you are unable to fill out the online form, give our office a call and we will help: 541-552-6048. We just have to verify your date of birth and residence. If you have already filled out the form, thank you! Forms are due by Wednesday, April 24.

Talented and committed OLLI volunteers keep our OLLI at SOU program vibrant! Without their involvement, we wouldn’t have our extensive curriculum, member support, community outreach, planning and governance--among others. We can help you find a short-term task or longer-term position that fits your background, skills, and interests.
