Last year’s Rush Team did a fantastic job building their pledge class, and we would like to build on their momentum this year. Our events will include the traditional sporting events, hunting and fishing trips, lunches and dinners, and ranch trips; however, we also hope to integrate newer events such as river float trip and a Galveston trip in conjunction with revised and enhanced Houston and Dallas State parties. We have full faith that the rush team we have for this coming summer will do a fantastic job, and we want to give them all the resources they need to assemble the best pledge class possible and hopefully the best that the Tau Chapter has ever had.
We also want to cultivate a culture of connectedness with alumni to the active chapter, forming lasting relationships. Along with our leadership, your support plays a critical role in the future success of this chapter. In order to meet our goal of initiating 70 pledges, we plan to raise over $50,000 to ensure a successful rush.
We have the utmost confidence in our newly elected Heads of Rush, Jake Kinnear and Austin Vincent, to build upon the Tau legacy. We will work closely with Rush Team to continue to improve the quality and quantity of our new members. We have no doubt that they will find the best fit young men for the Tau chapter, remaining a forceful presence on campus. Together, we believe we have the ability to achieve these goals, but they are not attainable without your continuous support.
