Give the City your Ideas on the 2025 Fiscal Year Budget
The budget process for 2024-25 is just beginning, and the city seeks early input from residents on how they want their taxpayer dollars spent. Provide comments online at Connect Tarpon Springs and attend the first budget public hearing Tuesday, June 11, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Budget workshops will be held in July and August, and two public hearings will be held in September before final adoption of the budget prior to October 1. Get Prepared for 2024 Hurricane Season, June 1-Nov. 30
The City is host to the 2024 Pinellas County Hurricane Preparedness Event on Saturday, June 1, from10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 444 Huey St. The event will be held both inside the building and outside along Huey St. Learn about sandbags and flood barriers, find your evacuation zone, receive free hurricane kits, register for special needs assistance, and explore the Touch-a-Truck area. Speakers include Denis Phillips of ABC Action News and Ross Giarratana with the National Weather Service.

Community Open House June 8 for Comprehensive Plan
|
A final open house on the 2040 Comprehensive Plan will be held Saturday, June 8, 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Tarpon Springs Public Library, 138 E. Lemon St. This is the last opportunity to learn about and discuss the plan before the process of approvals begin by the Planning & Zoning Board and Board of Commissioners. Final adoption is scheduled for late July-early August.
