City FY25 Budget Public Hearings


Public hearings on the Fiscal Year 2025 City Budget are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Sept. 18, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. This is a final opportunity to give your thoughts on the budget for the coming year. The new budget takes effect Oct. 1.

Business Owners Sought for Input on US 19 Corridor Improvements


Tarpon Springs business owners are invited to give their thoughts on future improvements to US 19 as part of a business-only Focus Group hosted by Forward Pinellas, FDOT and the City on Thursday, Oct 3, 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the SPC Tarpon Springs campus. The discussion is for business owners to get their perspective on what type of US 19 improvements might work best for the City. Manufacturing & Construction Career Expo

Seeking a career in the construction, labor, transportation, trades or manufacturing industries? If so, plan on attending the Manufacturing and Construction Career Expo Wednesday, Sept. 18, 11 am-2 pm at the St. Pete College Midtown Center, 1300 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg. Industry leaders and recruiters will be on hand to discuss various career opportunities.

Welcome New Business: Mia's Cafe

Coffee, crepes, gelato and much more is ready to fill your cravings at Mia's Cafe, the newest business to open on the Sponge Docks. Located at 35 Dodecanese Blvd., Mia's offers a range of sweet and savory items from pastries to yogurt parfaits, salads and sandwiches. Stop in for a sweet treat or healthy lunch or dinner. The cafe is open until 10 p.m. weekdays and 1 a.m. weekends for late night food or coffee.

Business Spotlight: One Amazing Find Expands; Opens New Store "Gifted"

The popular downtown home furnishings and decor business One Amazing Find is expanding and opening a second location at the Riverwalk Shops, 846 Dodecanese Blvd. The new store is called Gifted Tarpon Springs and will feature home decor, gift and specialty items. The new store opens Saturday, Aug. 31; stop in and welcome Casey and her team to the Sponge Docks.
