Judged on August 9, 2024, this event marked a significant moment in the state's brewing community, where top brewers from across Rhode Island competed for prestigious titles. Winners were announced at the Ocean State Brewers Festival on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Farm Fresh RI, and medals were awarded to the top brews in various categories. We are proud to announce that Tapped Apple Cidery and Winery not only took home multiple medals but also earned the esteemed title of “Rhode Worthy Cup Champion Brewery”... Josh Accardo is an in-demand stand-up comic and actor who has been featured at top clubs in New York City and across the country. Josh was the host of the show Weird and Wonderful Deals on Amazon Live. He played “George” a destructive, charming drug addict, the lead in the award-winning play Like Blood from a Cheap Cigar featured in the 70th Anniversary Festival Fringe Edinburgh. He wrote, directed, and starred in the popular web series Dating on Set and his YouTube page featuring his sketches and stand-up has over 1.3 million views. The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce is hosting its biennial Savor the Sunset event on September 17 from 5:30 - 8:00pm! Born in Port au Prince, Haiti, Joane Buteau Dumont is an up-and-coming artist who mainly focuses on acrylic and mixed media painting. Art, for her, is a way to cultivate a heightened sense of empathy and understanding of life. She attempts to paint a picture of something that does not exist; lots of emotions and spiritual connection to the vision.

Her show "Human Kind" will exhibit at Tapped Apple until October 11. It is about the way that she fits into this world. All the possible emotions that she posses are put into these paintings. The love, anger, vanity, beauty, nostalgia, and companionships that come with this beautiful life. The exhibit is an expression of these feelings, and she invites others to join her in the journey.
