It's hard to believe that it's March already.
Heads up!  There is a huge volleyball tournament in town during the April show and all the hotels have jacked up their rates.
If you are coming from out of town the Reno Ramada has nice rooms available for $65 a night plus taxes. If you need a room please book right away.
Just call and ask for the Tanners Marketplace rate.
Click here for more information. (The $50 rate applies to all but this show)

The April show is almost full so if you haven't registered as a vendor yet please do so right away.

Great News!
Many vendors and customers who were here for the  January show were raving about the Bright new lights!      We Have Light!!!

IVORY BAN
Nevada has followed California in enacting a strict ban on Ivory sales.
Not just Elephant but also shark fin, a lion of the species panthera leo or any species of  rhinoceros, tiger, leopard, cheetah, jaguar, pangolin, sea turtle, ray, mammoth, narwhal, walrus or hippopotamus.
It is now illegal to sell anything made from the above animals and there is a large fine!

I can understand most of these but the reason for walrus eludes  me. It's not an endangered species and the law means we cannot sell any Eskimo and Alaska artifacts and carvings made of walrus tooth (most of them).
As a word to the wise - unless you have documentation that the item is over 100 years old don't bring it to the show or have it in your booth.

Below is the schedule of upcoming shows
January 27th and 28th
April 21st and 22nd
August 4th and 5th
Oct. 6th and 7th
Nov. 17th and 18th
Magic of Santa Craft Faire Dec. 1,2
I'm sorry if any of the dates conflict with other shows,
I do my best to work around them
I'm also constrained by available dates at the Events Center

We are constantly striving to improve the shows so if you have any ideas please let one of us know.

The vendor applications are open and we have a few spaces open so if you want to get a booth please

Please remember to shop at our small local stores for unique gifts. The antique stores I list here and places like the Buy Nevada First store in the Reno Town Mall are excellent places to shop and it helps your LOCAL neighbors.
