| Hi all! Below is info about the tango class, balls, and V. Waltz camp routine! Tango Wed 29 Apr: I made a mistake when I announced in class the wrong day for Tango. We have Tango this week, Wed 29 Apr! We do not have Salsa this week!
No class next Wed: Also, next Wed we have no class; Migle and I are on a trip with the little one!
Saturday Glenn Echoe Strauss Ball, May 2nd: This Saturday is the - 31st Annual Viennese Waltz Ball at Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom; $20; 8p-midnight; An introductory Viennese Waltz lesson at 8 pm is followed by dancing until midnight in the Spanish Ballroom. A Grand March, dance cards, Carousel rides ($1.25/person) and refreshments.

V. WALTZ CAMP ROUTINE: We had a great time teaching the camp! For those who asked, here it the routine! Progressive basic (left for man) (2 sets) Whisks (2 sets) Stationary left turn (2 sets) Whisks (2 sets) Reverse Turn (2 sets) Whisk and then hesitation to the left Progressive basic (right for man) (1 set) Natural turn (right turn) Progressive basic Natural turn Whisk to right Underarm turn for lady Whisk to right, whisk to left Turn for man and lady Whisk to left, hesitate to right Sprirals (2 sets) Check for man/grapevine for woman into run around Reverse turn to cross body lead with explosion Arm over ladies head as man and woman slide by one another Man turns lady to face Spiral in predominate Spiral to end facing one another Another small piece was: Progressive basic on right 1/2 Natural turn to fleckerel to the right SHOES FOR DSE, TANGO, SALSA, or Practice for Ballroom: If you are in need of some shoes that work well for DSE, Tango, and/or Salsa, we carry "Hybrids" with suede bottoms. Right now I have all sizes. Here are a couple of pics:
