The Senate has made an offer, with the House bringing forth their second offer. The ball is now in the Senate's court. You can see the full funding recommendation and current Senate & House offers.
What does that mean for your arts funding in Leon and surrounding counties? For Leon County, full funding will provide $2,141,119 for 33 recommended grants. For North Florida, full funding will provide $3,052,247 for 51 grants in 9 counties (Bay, Gadsden, Franklin, Jefferson, Leon, Taylor, Wakulla, Washington, and Walton).

Volunteer at the 24th Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival

| Sign up to volunteer for just a few hours or every day – either way, join the group of dedicated volunteers who often return each year because it’s rewarding and fun! Your help will make all of the difference. Encourage your friends to sign up for the same shift so you have a buddy to share this experience. The 24th Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival will be April 20 & 21 and is North Florida’s premier outdoor fine art festival. Located in downtown Tallahassee along Park Avenue, the festival provides an opportunity for art lovers and artists to connect over the weekend. | | |
Join the TLH 200 Project

As part of the TLH 200: Gerald Ensley Memorial Bicentennial Project, the Democrat wants to highlight 200 people who lived here after 1824.
Send email suggestions of people you think should be included and why, to history@tallahassee.com, and listen for updates on the Greg Tish Show. In addition to our 200 list, we'll be compiling your suggestions and honoring them as well.

We intend to roll out our first 20 names and their minibiographies ahead of the city’s official bicentennial date of March 4 and the final 20 on Dec. 29, the anniversary of the founding of Leon County.

The Closet provides a much-needed service to FSU students, providing them with business professional clothing for interviews, career fairs, internships, and more. This press was made to order in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It has a stationary bed, so the roller moves over the blankets and press bed is stationary when printing.
