STUDENT DESK PROGRAM UPDATE

WiSH wants to thank all of the wonderful community members who have volunteered to help distribute desks to displaced students. In just four distribution days, we have already served 160 students! Want to get on the list to help deliver? You must be over 18 as the driver and have a partner along for the ride. We appreciate your help!

HELP NEEDED RIGHT NOW!

The LIVING SKILLS LAB for special education students is being updated and modernized at Valencia High School. the lab provides vital resources for these kids and they need some help. Are you updating or renovating your home? Purchasing new appliances but have a working LATE MODEL STAINLESS STEEL WASHER, DRYER AND REFRIGERATOR that you are available to donate?

WE NEED THEM!

California Credit Union is proud to share that the LA County Office of Education (LACOE) and the Greater LA Education Foundation ( GLAEF) have launched their Teacher of the Year Equitable Innovation Grant Initiative that awards a total of $50,000! Each grant is $1,500 or to teams of three for up to $4,500. The program supports teachers, administrators, counselors, leaders of clubs and other dedicated staff and can be leveraged for all ages and disciplines, including grades TK-12.
