Learn about the power of the arts with Jackson's story
At Place des Arts, we are always inspired by a person’s journey with the arts. We were very excited to hear how one of our Speech Arts and Drama classes has helped one of our students, Jackson in amazing ways.

Jackson's grandmother, Rhonda, told us all about his experiences and how the class made an impact on his life.

Marlene Lowden Following your intuition with Abstract Expressionism
Marlene Lowden is a painter, a yoga instructor and a teacher, student and lover of the arts.
We’re very excited to be exhibiting her work this month, to have her expertise during our Artist-in-Residence program and as a participating artist during February Family Day.

Marlene will also be hosting a FREE event for International Woman's Day on March 8 at Place des Arts. This event features a talk about her exhibition, Blind Contour Homage, and an opportunity to try blind contouring for yourself! Register here.
