The Beverly Public Library is hosting a Researching Your Family History event from 6:30-8pm on Thursday, February 23rd. Whether professional or hobbyist, expert or novice, you can unlock the story of you with our online and print resources. You will explore the library's many online genealogical databases and take a tour of the Beverly Room. No registration required, learn more here.

The Beverly Public Library is hosting Community Zen from 11:30am to 1pm on Friday, February 24th. Find some peace with a time for quiet meditation and make contact with your own stability and sanity. Sessions will be led by Zen Center's founder Joan Amaral and will include brief instruction, teachings for well-being and healing, and practices for working with the mind, along with guided meditation for grounding and centering. Ryan Niemiller will be bringing the laughs over at Off Cabot this weekend. With both Friday and Saturday shows, there's no reason to miss this. You may know Ryan Niemiller as the disarmingly handsome comedian and 3rd place finalist from America's Got Talent Season 14. Despite being born with a disability in both arms, Ryan, the self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy”, shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped (and very handsome). He's a favorite performer in clubs and colleges across the country. Join the Beverly Rec Department's new Boot Camp for outdoor strength training every Tuesday and Thursday 6am-7am at Beverly High School for the next seven weeks. Boot Camp is a total-body conditioning program designed to improve your muscular strength, overall power core strength, agility, coordination, speed, flexibility and balance. Letters From Home will bring back the style of the USO with a high-energy performance featuring Erinn Dearth and Dan Beckmann at the Cabot this Thursday, February 23rd at 6pm! This duo has performed over 900 shows across the United States for veterans and their families, and performed at the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France. The show is filled with singing, tap dancing, knee-slapping jokes and audience interaction that make up a spectacular performance geared towards uniting the nation through music. Old Planters Brewing Co is hosting Mike Francis of Soul Rebel Project for an acoustic performance on Saturday, February 25th at 7pm. Soul Rebel Project are two time winners of the Boston Music Award's international artist of the year. So come down to the tap room, chill, dance and drink some fine brews to the melodic sounds and infectious rhythms of this acoustic performance.

The Robert Cray Band is performing at the Cabot this Sunday February, 26th at 7pm for the first time since his 2020 album “That’s What I Heard”. Over the past four decades, Cray has created a sound that rises from American roots, blues, soul and R&B, with five Grammy wins, 20 acclaimed studio and live albums that punctuate the Blues Hall of Famer’s career. On That’s What I Heard, Robert celebrates the music of Curtis Mayfield, Bobby “Blue” Bland, The Sensational Nightingales and more, alongside Cray’s own songs.
