Attend the Upcoming Splash Station Job Fair


Looking to make a splash and some cash this summer? It’s not too late to secure a cool summer job at Cleburne’s Splash Station. Individuals ages 16 and older can apply to be a summer lifeguard or a customer attendant.


Apply online today at www.cleburne.net/jobs and then attend the job fair tomorrow, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You could get hired on the spot!

Free Legal Advice at the Rec Center

Need a lawyer, but can't afford one? The Booker T. Washington Recreation Center offers legal aid on the third Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The next one will be on Feb. 21.


Appointments are highly encouraged. Walk-ins will be accepted, but space is limited for those who do not register. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 817-336-3943.

Library Hosting an Off-Site Trivia Night


Show off your trivia skills at the Cleburne Public Library’s Trivia Night. The free event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. at Soul Fire Brewing (located at 6 N. Caddo St.).


Come early to purchase food and drinks to fuel your brain. You have to reserve your spot by Friday, Feb. 16, so call the library at 817-645-0934 to register.

Get Free Information About Medicare

Medicare is federal health insurance for people ages 65 and older. Are you or a loved one navigating through the complexities of it?

Animal Resources for Johnson County


Cleburne Animal Services serves the citizens of the City of Cleburne. The shelter does not provide service for the Johnson County area outside the city limits.


However, there are agencies for county residents to report animal-related issues and concerns.
