Be Prepared for the Total Solar Eclipse

The total solar eclipse is happening in less than two weeks (on Monday, April 8), and we want to make sure you're prepared for it. With the increase in visitors, be sure that you have groceries, fuel and medicines for a few days.

Also, make sure you take proper safety precautions if you're viewing the eclipse. Learn more about the total solar eclipse and safety tips to help you navigate through this rare celestial event here.

Ever wanted to visit the museum on a Sunday? You’re in luck! The Layland Museum of History and Cleburne Railroad Museum will be open on Sunday, April 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. This is a one-time event. The museums are typically closed on Sunday and Monday.

Fifth Saturday Fly-In at the Airport This Week

It's that time of year again. On March 30 from 8 to 11 a.m., the Cleburne Regional Airport will host its first Fifth Saturday Pancake Fly-In of 2024.

Bring your friends and family out for free breakfast and aviation talk. You can also learn about Dauntless Air and its aerial firefighting efforts. Plus, Cleburne firefighters will be on site for a fire extinguisher safety demonstration.

PET OF THE WEEK

This pup is too cute to pass up. Just look at him! Rolo is a 5-month-old who has been at the Cleburne Animal Shelter since February.

He's so playful with a heart as big as his adorable floppy ears. If you're ready to add a bundle of joy to your family, consider giving Rolo the loving home he deserves. Get adoption information here.
