You can get up close and personal with a part of Cleburne’s history on Wednesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. The Cleburne Railroad Museum will host its first ever “Museum of Memory” panel, featuring speakers discussing their experience in the Cleburne Santa Fe Shops apprentice program.
The Shops was where crews repaired and manufactured locomotives and other rail cars before it closed in 1989. After the panelists speak, anyone who attends is welcome to come up and share their own story about the Santa Fe apprentice program. Attendance is free, and refreshments are included.
