ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT PLANNING
Energy and Environment planning with the cities of Bertha, Menahga, Motley and Sebeka has begun. Do you live in, or spend time in these communities? We welcome your ideas for community projects related to water, storm events, waste, land and food, and energy. Take the community survey at regionfive.org/eep Do you have concerns about water quality? Is there a community storm shelter in case of severe weather? How do you dispose of unwanted appliances? Would you like to see more trees or other plantings in a city park or along the highway? Do you want to see the city conserving energy by installing LED street lights or other energy efficient measures? Your good idea may get selected for a grant-funded project, but only if you share it!

Thank you to Morgan Family Foundation, USDA, EDA, and Sourcewell for your partnership.
