Tail-Wagging Times

Wags & Wiggles Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. We run entirely by compassionate like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save the lives and then care for these animals. We believe in helping the underdogs and give it all we have.

Meet Koda

Meet Koda! She is about 2 1/2 years old and we think a chihuahua mix but without a DNA test we can't be sure. She previously lived with a larger dog who bullied her so she is fearful of larger dogs. However, she does fine with smaller dogs. She is working on potty training and on a leash as she doesn't have much experience with walking on a leash. Koda loves to follow her foster around and will come quickly when called. She does well with people but also occasionally likes her space. Her adoption fee is $100.

Meet Cucumber

Meet Cucumber! I am about 7 weeks old and a domestic short hair kitten. She is super silly and curious She loves to play. Cucumber will be spayed, vaccinated, and on flea/tick/heartworm once she gets a little older. Her adoption fee is $65.

Adopt, Shop, & Support Event at Electric Works

Hello, animal lovers and advocates! Union Street Market will be hosting an event focusing on pet adoption facilities, wildlife rescue organizations, pet products, and pet services! Think of it as an animal advocacy day. We will showcase a variety of local adoption non-profits, pop-up vendors with pet-related products, lodging and daycare facilities, wildlife educators, and other animal-adjacent organizations and vendors! This event is free and family-friendly, including pets! Weigand Yard is dog-friendly, but due to Health Department guidelines, Union Street Market does not allow animals indoors. All pets must be secured and leashed. Please plan accordingly.

If you are looking for a great way to help the rescue and get in some spring-cleaning, we have opened up donations for our summer garage sale!
