Hello Alumni Family!
I've been having so much fun the past few months connecting with alumni and seeing some of the spaces and places where you are working! I can't wait to meet more of you.
In June, we had our first-ever, program-specific alumni mixer for CSET and EET graduates. We partnered with PubForge who welcomed us into their space. We had a small but mighty crew of alumni who chatted about the school and reminisced about their time here. In July, we hosted alumni from The Table for a reunion as well. It was great to meet some young alumni and connect with them about how they want to get involved. I'm excited to continue to plan these types of events with your help and interest! Please reach out if getting your class or program together sounds like something you'd love to do.
I've also been busy looking ahead by planning a host of activities for Homecoming week this year starting on October 10th. We are going BIG so mark your calendars now. We are hosting activities and inviting you back on campus to participate in a blood drive, peek into our archives history with Tim Creamer and Trisha Meley, compete in a powder puff football game, and more. On the evening of October 13th we will host both the Athletic Hall of Fame inductions AND class reunions for the classes of 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1973. Saturday, October 14th will be a HUGE DAY!! We will have our Car Show on main campus, President's Tailgate, our public meeting, and end the day with our Alumni Awards Banquet. I can't wait to see and meet you at one of these amazing events.
