Each year, nearly 25,000 Americans visit the emergency room due to a workplace eye injury. During Workplace Eye Wellness Month this March, the American Academy of Ophthalmology reminds employers and workers about the importance of wearing certified and approved eye protection.

Why you need to get recertified: Effective July 1, 2019, significant changes to the wastewater certification program regarding certificate expiration were made by the Illinois Pollution Control Board. Pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 380.700 (c), all Class K and Class R Certificates of Technical Competency issued 2019 or earlier shall expire on July 1, 2024.
