SCHOOL ATTENDANCE COUNTS!

Make the Most of your Time at School

Consistently arriving to school late can set a child's progress back. Checking out early regularly can also take away from important instructional time.

If your child must check out early, make sure they have asked teachers for resources and materials to make up for the missed learning time in the classroom.

#ShowingUpTogether

Could missing too many days be bringing your child's grades down?

There is a direct correlation to student performance and student attendance. Monitor your child's academic progress and help them to keep up with missed assignments when they do have to miss classtime. Make sure teachers know how to contact you.

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

Our children SHINE when they have the support and encouragement of their biggest fans.

Tangischools wants to recognize all of our amazing students who particpated in our Tangipahao Parish Fair, and give a round of applause to their biggest fans... their families. Thank you for going the extra mile, putting in the extra hours, and providing your child with the support and encouragement they need to thrive. We are so impressed by the sportsmanship, perserverance, and drive that our students displayed.
