I was trawling through twitter the other day and came across an image that made me go WOW.
Sometimes the big end of town really nails it, I think this is one of those occasions:

This is a senior role on a 53 hectare cool-climate vineyard and applicants MUST HAVE strong experience in managing large and complex vineyards:
* Preparation and execution of approved budgets for costs, labour, investment * Delivery of high quality fruit, in line with agreed quality standards for each block * Implementation of irrigation, vine health, spray programmes, pruning, canopy development and harvesting programmes, in line with desired quality standards. * Management/maintenance of vineyard infrastructure (irrigation, trellis, communication, access pumping) to ensure cost-efficient operation. * Liaison with existing and potential customers to ensure optimal (and/or pre-negotiated) placement and pricing of grape production * Liaison with external suppliers of services, parts and equipment to ensure cost-effective and timely operation of the vineyard - pruning, spraying, de-suckering, wire-lifting, etc...
