Speakers include moderator Amanda Coolong of TechZulu, Renee Topper of Write Click Here, Micah Baldwin of Graphicly, and AdaPia d'Errico brand specialist. There were so many good tweets from this panel w the #SBF hashtag, that it attracted people to leave other panels to attend midway thru!  Women Developers panel featured women developers discussing issues of women in tech, how they got into tech, and increasing women representation at hackathons, tech events, and more. Moderated by Tara Tiger Brown, with developers from LA to SF including: Rachel Blum of Google, Angie Chang of Hackbright Academy, Shirley Lin of 800 Birds, Amy Hee Kim of USC Women in Engineering Program, Sophia Viklund of BackCode. - EdTech from STEM to STEAM featured panelists discussing art tech startups and other educational tech programs to increase children learning. Speakers included moderator Evonne Heyning of EDDEFY, Tina Hoover of Brainrush, Brent Bushnell of Two Bit Circus, Teresa Gozney and Tara Brown of LA Makerspace.
- Gov - I Just Want It Fixed featured Kurt Daradics of Esri discussing how government use of big data and apps can increase civic engagemetn. PARTIES SBF includes lots of cocktails and parties for networking and helping facilitate handshaking-deals getting done. - Opening Party by Demand Media at the Viceroy. Hundreds packed the outdoor pool patio at the Viceroy, with energy in the seaside air for the start of the conference. Demand Media offered free Demand Media cupcakes at its cabana, and hosted a VIP pre-cocktails as well. KCRW DJ Raul Campos got the groove on poolside, as attendees checked out the KCRW iPad listenting stations at the KCRW cabana. - Thursday Night Siemers / Cooley VIP Party packed the rooftop of Siemers to capacity with a band and taco car. Cooley offered amazing views and more networking - Friday Night Party presented by Cornerstone OnDemand transformed Cross Campus into a club with open bar, free food, and VIP area. Features include Cornerstone OnDemand's interactive video grafitti wall, payvia's table, flashing Cross Campus Xs, light-up clothing by Illuminode, digital art installations curated by Create:Fixate, and the TaskUs photo booth where attendees could take fun photos.
- Closing Party by Media Temple featured a dance performance with balls and hulu hoops by LA Follies, tarot card readers and fortune tellers. Plus, attendees who took pics at the Media Temple photobooth by Cliques Photos received free SBF T-shirts. Here's a link to Media Temple's Cliques booth pics. OTHER FEST FUN  - Beach Games. We rallied SBF attendees to network while playing basketball in Venice, surfing in Manhattan Beach, SoulCycle near Third St. Promenade, and volleyball on Santa Monica Beach. Our volleyball Team Silicon Spikers ranked second in the Vilebrequin games
- TechZulu Penthouse. Efren Toscano and Amanda Coolong did dozens of interviews with speakers and attendees from the ROC roof deck with sun and palm trees in the background. Other highlights include Fireman's Brew offering free beverages, and Callfire's Sprinkles f  ree cupcakes on Thursday and surprise free ice cream at the Sprinkles Ice Cream cart on Friday. ChargeAll offered free charging stations so busy tweeters could get a charge boost while chatting in the sun. -The TriNet food taco truck provided freebreakfast, lunch and dinner at ROC and Cross Campus. CANNES - Our Silicon Beach at Cannes Beach panel featured LA startup FilmBreak and a filmmaker making a documentary about LA startup Enplug, at Nikki Beach on Cannes Beach during the Cannes Film Fest. Check the PICs.
Speakers included:Darren Marble, CEO of FilmBreak, and Vladislav Pasternak, producer of Sex and Breakfast, one of this year's short films in the Cannes Film Festival. The film was written and directed by Victoria Kashtan, who was a photographer for our Silicon Beach Fest Hollywood. Victoria and Vlad also created the documentary film Notes of a Freshman, featuring the story of LA-based startup Enplug (StartEngine accelerator alum).
We also traded notes on best films, yacht parties, beach parties, and chateau parties with LA peeps and attendees from New York, London, Russia and Singapore.
