TNT is back

The building is the gift, and TNT will soon launch a capital campaign to renovate it and hopefully open in 2024. Read on for more about the donors, two of Birmingham theater’s most generous, and the new location.

A trio of choices in the coming week

We’re getting back in the swing of things after the long holiday weekend, with two shows opening, as well as a performance by the Alabama Ballet.

  • The ballet presents “Coppelia” tonight through Sunday at the Dorothy Jemison Day Theatre.

  • This weekend, you can also catch “Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses” (through June 11 at Homewood Theatre) and “Shrek the Musical” (through June 25 at Red Mountain Theatre). You can read about "Shrek" star Caleb Clark here.
