A Message From Our Interim Principal | |
Hello Tolt Community,
I hope this message finds you well. It has been a fantastic two weeks in this role, and I find myself amazed and encouraged by the kindness and compassion of our students, staff, and community members. Tolt is a great place to be.
Last night, we hosted 5th Grade Parent Night. It was great interacting with families and sharing about our efforts to help our incoming 6th grade students have a successful transition in our school community. We had staff on hand to allow for self-guided tours of key areas that their students will get to know very well, provide answers to thoughtful questions, and offer support and resources that can help along the way.
We are already more than halfway through our school year. Time flies by when you’re having fun. It is a good time to take a moment to reflect on the year with your students. Think about all the things that are going well and reflect on the things that need slight adjustments or improvements. As I personally do this, I am inspired by all the good that is happening which gives me the energy to continue along the journey. I’m looking forward to supporting our students and families for the remaining school year!
Have a great weekend!
Scott Petersen
Interim Principal

Elementary School Visits
Tolt counselors recently visited 5th grade classrooms in the Riverview School District--Carnation Elementary, Cherry Valley Elementary, Eagle Rock Multi-Age, and Stillwater Elementary. Our Tolt counselors provided information about Tolt, shared course selection information, and answered questions. It was a great time connecting with our 5th graders before they transition to Tolt!
