We recently developed a new form for TMIN Briefing content submissions. As a reminder, TMIN Briefing is published every other T hursday. If you submit content during an off week, it will be considered for the following issue. Please allow a minimum lead time of two business days for content to be considered. Dr. Paul Summergrad Receives 2024 APA Distinguished Service Award |

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) honored Paul Summergrad, MD (pictured below at left) with the 2024 Distinguished Service Award for outstanding leadership and decades of service to national and international psychiatry. This is one of the highest honors from the APA. Dr. Summergrad is Chair Emeritus of the Tufts MC Department of Psychiatry, a Tufts University School of Medicine professor and served as a past president of the APA.

As healthcare professionals, we all encounter situations that challenge, inspire, frighten, or change us. We can learn from and support each other when we share these stories.
The Tufts Medical Center Office of Clinical Education invites all clinical staff across the Tufts Medicine system to join its next storytelling session on Tuesday, May 28 at 5pm. Stories are told in an open-mic format, prepared in advance, and should be under five minutes each. All are welcome to share openly, listen deeply and find strength and solace in our shared experiences. Join us to listen, share a story or commune with colleagues.
